A 12-year-old boy has made a solid entry into the NFT universe!

Beyamin Ahmed is a 12-year-old coder who was part of the team that created and debuted two NFT projects, Weird Whales and Boring Bananas Co. He initiated his coding skills at the age of 5 with the support of his father, Imran! Through the projects, Ahmed managed to gain almost $400,000 in only two months’ time from Weird Whales project only!

What does he do, exactly?

Ahmed’s role mainly revolved around providing technical support and answering questions in the project’s group on Discord! In addition, Ahmed was part of creating the smart contract and the web app! He says, and we quote, I have been working closely with the NFH team since the beginning. The Weird Whales community has taught me a lot about what works and doesn’t work, and so I brought the experiences I had there with me. We’re building something that we believe is going to have the potential to disrupt the entire media and entertainment industry. The first NFT project to make it to a theater near you.”

The Projects!

NFH stands for Non-fungible heroes which reflect 8,888 comic book NFT characters, such as villains, gods and heroes, done for Boring Bananas Co. project. The collection was sold out during 12 minutes only and till today, it has been making more than $5 million in sales! Guess who are Ahmed’s teammates! Well, some of the artists who took part in the designing of the characters were former team members in Disney, Nickelodeon and Marvel! Crazy, huh?

Ahmed has indeed been successful throughout his NFT journey, but also believes that the most important element is the community! He says and we quote, “This is key for all successful NFT projects. Crypto is quite often seen as an exclusive club for coders and traders. However, this creative and highly educational aspect of communities is being completely overlooked.”
