If you remember, in 2018, the boxing match that was supposed to happen between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway was cancelled. They were meant to fight for the UFC title, so now, they decided to make it happen with a twist, even though Khabib has retired after his father passed away! They took the match to the metaverse and it went down virtually!

The first metaverse fight !

Yas! This is the first metaverse boxing fight to happen in the history of the entire earth as stated by the fight’s teaser! Khabib previously mentioned that he will be taking on a fight virtually, but it has recently been confirmed. Even Max Holloway said, and we quote, “On February 12, Legion Farm, a place where gamers meet and play with PRO players, will be hosting an epic event. In Mozilla Hubs Metaverse with the First Metaverse Fight in the history of the Earth between Khabib Nurmagomedov and me! And you are invited to witness it. Join the event personally right in the metaverse. You’ll get a chance to participate in a VR boxing match, speak face-to-face and take pictures with me and other special guests."

Boxers, Islam Makhachev and Daniel Cormier, also attended the event on the metaverse, which took place on Saturday at 8 PM UK time! The audience were supposed to subscribe to watch and pay a fee of $1 only on Legion Farm standart!
