Gucci is in the metaverse!

If you’re still thinking about and testing the concept of the metaverse, you’d better stop thinking and start acting. Just like crypto and NFTs, this is a fast-moving industry. Catching the wave as early as possible is best for a smooth surf!

Just like many other renowned entities, the luxury-fashion brand, Gucci, has announced its entry into the metaverse. This comes after Gucci’s previous experience with NFTs back in March 2021 as well as Gucci Garden on Roblox for its 100th anniversary. It also sold a digital version of its Dionysus bag for around $4,115.

The Sandbox land!

Gucci has its eyes on the Gen Z market and what other way to do it than tapping into the digital craze. With 73,000 members on their Discord channel, and without unveiling the price the company paid, Gucci announced that they have bought a land on The Sandbox virtual world. As you know, Gucci Vault is the brand’s online concept store. What Gucci did is expand it into the virtual world by creating a digital experience to engage and interact with fans and clients.

On Twitter, the company released a tweet saying, and we quote, “Crafting the future, pixel by pixel. Vault is building its own virtual world on TheSandboxGame”. Moreover, Gucci has also posted a job vacancy for a Discord Community Coordinator, which means that it is willing to go all-in when it comes to the world of crypto. This definitely looks like a promising future for us and for the brand.
