John Legend, the renowned singer, song writer, producer, philanthropist and even the actor, is debuting an NFT platform! He has launched the platform already and called it “OurSong”. This platform is specifically designed and crafted for musicians and artists. Users can engage with other artists through private chat rooms, maybe to ask about unreleased work. Interesting, right?

What’s so special about it?

This platform has been created by Legend to assist up-coming as well as established artists, entertainers, and musicians. This platform has been developed in collaboration with the CEO of KKBOX, Chris Lin, as well as Kevin Lin, Twitch’s co-founder, and Matt Cheng, a venture capitalist. John Legend clarifies who they’re trying to assist in this venture, and we quote, “It can be really intimidating for an emerging creative who wants to share their art, their work with the world but they feel like they can't possibly do something that's going to be worth that much money”.

A statement released by the website says, and we quote, “OurSong, is a social commerce platform where everyone can turn everyday creativity into tradable assets and build super fan communities. In plain English - an app for your ideas to make money and friends”. Moreover, users will be able to even transform their work into “Vibes”, NFT trading cards. OurSong says, and we quote, “Creators can create Vibes by contributing songs, lyrics, images or other materials.”

Everyone who wants to be active on the platform must, first download it from Google Play store and Apple’s App Store, as well as own OSDs.
