HTC is a Tawanese electronics company, whose last smart phone, Exodus 1, was released back in 2018 and had the wallet feature for the crypto community. Today, they are coming back strong. They recently announced that they are preparing to debut a new metaverse phone during the month of April 2022. Check out the details of it.

This is the future of smart phones!

During the MWC 2022, HTC stated that the company is looking to incorporate advanced features into their upcoming smart phones and what other way to do it than utilizing the blockchain technology! Charles Huang, HTC's Asia Pacific General Manager, said that the smart phone will have enough power to manage AR, or augmented reality, and VR, or virtual reality, knowing that they have been a leader in the VR industry!

The HTC VR headset!

As mentioned, HTC has already tapped in the VR space! Last year, they released a VR headset called Vive Flow. This device, which has been designed to look like a regular sunglass, has two LCD displays as well as two front cameras supporting motion and hand tracking. It also did not come with a controller like the regular VR headsets. This device could be the door HTC will use to enter to the metaverse through their new smart phone.

Let’s face it! This phone is definitely gonna be an intense rival for other companies in the industry, such as Apple and Samsung. Let’s just wait and see what HTC has to unveil. You never know what might happen till then.
