Michael Jordan releases his first NFTs with his son!

We believe that acquiring or creating NFTs is being normalized day after day. It is still a hype and a trend, but for some, it has become part of their lives. Michael Jordan, the NBA legend, has recently debuted his very own NFT collection along with his son, Jeffrey Jordan!

6 Rings!

Spawned by the many championship rings that Jordan has received with the Chicago Bulls, the NFT collection consists of 6 of those bull rings! They have also been released in several colors, such as black, gold, silver, white and red. The collection is available on their very own platform on Solana called Heir, a Web3 platform previously announced by Jordan last December, run by Jeron Smith, Nike’s former brand manager, with Jeffrey Jordan, targeting GenZ audiences!

That’s not it!

Even Jordan’s jersey number has played a role in the collection. Each ring is priced at 2.3 SOL or $221! This refers to Jordan’s number. Moreover, the buyer of each ring will be referred to as “founding fan” while getting instant access to Heir, which allows them to connect with NBA giants, get ahold of exclusive merchandise, and soon, acquire rarities!

In addition, Heir platform will continue to operate on Solana because of lower gas fees. Also, the platform will feature several NBA players, from youngsters to giants, even though the celebrity athletes list is yet to be revealed. However, it is clear that fans will connect with their favorite players as well as receive rewards such as benefits, access, and tokens.
