RedBull is incorporating NFTs & the metaverse!

As more and more big brands, names and celebrities are joining in on the craze, household brands have had their share too. The most recent brand to tap into the world of NFTs and the metaverse, through filing related trademark applications, is the energy drink legend and concept, RedBull!

Earlier in March, RedBull filed a trademark application which shows the company’s aim to provide NFTs for its community as well as tap into the virtual world! Through the licensed metaverse trademark attorney, Michael Kondoudis, an announcement has been made on Twitter. Within the tweet, it was said that RedBull intends to provide NFTs, from virtual and cryptocurrencies to clothing, athletics equipment, drinks and more. They are also providing financial exchange services in the metaverse! All of this is available for purchase through RedBull’s currency! This is big!

That’s not it …

In addition to physical and virtual products, NFT holders will be able to attend real events, like concerts and sporting, by exchanging tokens. Here it is important to note that RedBull has been a leader in extreme sports, from clothing to actually hosting such events related to BMX and skateboarding, cliff diving, freestyle skiing, and mountain riding. They are also official sponsors to a number of renowned brands, celebrities, athletes, and big names. This makes it a significant new entry, creating a new way for fans and athletes to connect, engage and even purchase!
